Position Overview
OPPMed is seeking experienced physicians to serve as Regional Medical Directors within our national physician-led medical practice. Regional Medical Directors provide clinical leadership, physician oversight, quality assurance, and strategic support across assigned geographic regions and service lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide regional physician leadership and clinical oversight
- Support quality assurance and clinical standards
- Participate in physician recruitment and onboarding
- Provide guidance on complex clinical and occupational medicine matters
- Support regulatory and licensure compliance
- Collaborate with executive leadership
- Help develop and maintain clinical policies and protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Active and unrestricted medical licensure
- Board certification
- Demonstrated physician leadership experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with virtual healthcare preferred
