Cletus K. Oppong, MD, MPH
Executive Leadership
OPPMed is led by Cletus K. Oppong, MD, MPH, a Board Certified Occupational Medicine Physician certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM).
Clinical expertise
Dr. Oppong began his residency in Anesthesiology providing a strong clinical foundation in pharmacology, physiology, airway management, and acute patient safety.
Public Health & Occupational Medicine
He holds a Master of Public Health with an emphasis in Occupational & Environmental Health Sciences, providing advanced training in population health, exposure assessment, environmental risk management and workplace safety systems.
Regulatory Leadership
Dr. Oppong serves as a United States Civil Surgeon, a Certified Medical Review Officer, and a Certified DOT Medical Examiner offering practical insight into medical qualification standards, fitness-for-duty determinations and federal transportation safety requirements.
Professional memberships
He maintains professional memberships with the American College of Occupational & Environmental Medicine (ACOEM), the Medical Review Officer Certification Council (MROCC), and the American Association of Medical Review Officers (AAMRO), ensuring continued engagement with evolving best practices and regulatory compliance standards.
