Know When Virtual Care Isn’t Enough
Virtual Urgent Care is intended for medical concerns that can be safely evaluated and managed through telemedicine.
During your visit, your physician may determine that you need a physical examination, diagnostic testing, procedure, specialist evaluation, urgent care center, or emergency department.
OPPMed does not provide emergency medical services.
Examples of symptoms that generally warrant emergency evaluation include severe chest pain, significant difficulty breathing, signs of stroke, severe bleeding, major trauma, loss of consciousness, or other potentially life-threatening symptoms.
