WORKFORCE HEALTHCARE
Healthcare Access Built Around Your Workforce.
Give your employees convenient access to OPPMed physicians for appropriate primary care and virtual urgent care, wherever work or life takes them.
Designed for self-insured employers, OPPMed provides a physician-led virtual healthcare solution that helps employees access routine and acute care without automatically requiring a trip to a doctor’s office or urgent care center.
ONE PROGRAM, TWO WAYS TO ACCESS CARE.
Primary Care + Virtual Urgent Care
Employees do not always need the same type of healthcare. OPPMed gives eligible employees access to physicians for both routine health needs and unexpected medical concerns through one virtual platform.
Virtual Primary Care
For routine healthcare needs. Appropriate virtual care may include preventive health guidance, medication management, laboratory testing, follow-up care, stable chronic health support, diagnostic orders, and referrals.
Virtual Urgent Care
For the things that come up unexpectedly. Same-day virtual evaluation for many common illnesses, minor injuries, and acute medical concerns that can be safely evaluated and managed through telemedicine.
Employees don’t have to decide alone. OPPMed can help direct them to the appropriate level of care.

Instead of relying exclusively on traditional office visits, urgent care centers, or emergency departments for appropriate non-emergency concerns, eligible employees can begin with OPPMed.
Expand Access
Provide healthcare access to employees across distributed, remote, traveling, and geographically dispersed workforces.
Reduce Friction
Employees can seek appropriate care without automatically leaving home or work to sit in a waiting room.
Coordinate the Next Step
When virtual care isn’t enough, OPPMed can help coordinate laboratories, diagnostics, specialists, or appropriate in-person care.
One Physician-Led Platform

When Specialty Care Is Needed
Care Does Not Have to End With a Referral
When an employee’s needs extend beyond what can appropriately be provided virtually, OPPMed can help identify the next level of care.
Employees may be referred to established physicians, local facilities, or appropriate specialists, including participating providers within the OPPMed National Clinical Network when available.
Different Needs. One OPPMed Relationship.
Workforce Healthcare Is Not Occupational Medicine.
Workforce Healthcare provides employees access to healthcare for their personal medical needs.
Occupational Medicine supports the employer and employee with work-related health, safety, regulatory, injury, exposure, surveillance, and fitness-for-duty needs.
An employer may contract with OPPMed for either service independently or both as part of a broader workforce health program.
